Axe Throwing - How it Works:
​
This is a hybrid style axe throwing game. It combines real axes, being thrown at a real wood target, with a computer, a projector, and a sensor. The computer projects the game on the wood block, which allows you to play any number of games, with static or MOVING targets.
An infrared sensor is mounted where it can see the target area, and when an axe sticks in the block, it relays it's location back to the computer. Because the sensor can see the entire target area, it provides quick and accurate scoring for the players.
